AR cones are known by several names and are available from several manufacturers. They tried a set on their 1200XL with little or no improvement. HTC changed the cone angle & reduced the outlet diameter for the smaller XL engine & there was a very noticeable improvement. Improvement was felt in torque & in reduced stumbling when the throttle is opened.

NEWS!!! The Bad Apple Race Team traveled the long distance to compete at the JIMS Las Vegas Nationals, the season finale to another spectacular season with the AHDRA. Weather conditions for the weekend were abnormally cold and breezy for the strip. The action on and off the track was exciting all weekend. The Discovery Channel was on hand to record a Biker Build off episode for there hit TV series. During first round action of qualifying the team posted a 6.50 pass putting them safely in the top half of the field. Second round temperatures cooled of quickly but the team was able to continue the performance from the first round and ran a 6.55 pass. With second round action completed and the team still safely in the top half of the field the team decided to try and step up there performance numbers for the final round . During third round qualifying the team posted and impressive 6.43 pass placing them in the number two spot for race day. Unfortunately during that pass the tire started to chunk, which meant a new tire would have to be used for race day. Elimination day turned out to be a very disappointing end to a great season with a first round loss. The bike at the launch pulled hard to the centerline and Tracy had to chop the throttle to avoid crossing the centerline. When in Vegas you never know when your luck is going to run out. Out of the competition the team decided to enter the Outlaw ranks and posted an impressive 6.47 and a 6.52 pass. Overall it has been a great season with the team improving on there performance & consistency all year. Tracy ran his personnel best pass of a 6.275 at 217 MPH this season. Tracy is now the 19th quickest man on a dragbike in the world and the 5th quickest on a Nitro Harley. The team finished the season in the 6th position nationally. Over the next four or five years it would grow into a publication that filled a solid area in PA, WV, & Ohio. Still a free publication, the Cycle Source continued to hone its content and gather contributors as it served the Tri-State area.

In March of 2005, the Cycle Source celebrated its 8th anniversary by announcing its intention of going to the news stand. After eight years, they believed that this was the right time to make the transition. On July 1st of 2005, they put out the first issue on the news stands through four larger distribution services: NewsGroup, Newbourne Ent. Harrisburg News and LaBelle Dist. at the retail price of $1.25. This gave they an immediate increase in coverage from New Jersey through Michigan.

He was a farmer who loved riding Harley-Davidson® motorcycles so much that he started selling them in the only facility he had available to him: a chicken coop on his farm in Kulpsville, Pennsylvania.
In the late 30s & 40s, he and his wife, Margaret, journeyed to every one of the 48 contiguous states on a Harley® bike. In 1949, he moved his family & business to a newly-built location in Souderton, PA, on what was then Route 309; a well-traveled federal road between Philadelphia & Allentown. Additions to building in 1954, 1975, 1990, and 1998 and the adding of a second Designer Store renovation with three extensive exterior modifications completed the existing original structure.
"Bud" Dean took the dealership to a new level, having supervised the expansion of the physical location from 1975 to present and surviving the hard times of the early 1980s. In 1997, Dean's celebrated 50 years of service to and for Harley-Davidson, & two generations of loyalty to one brand.
In 2002, as Harley-Davidson was gearing up for their 2003, 100 year celebration, Dean's planned their next evolution. Mary Virginia Wade, or better known as Jennie Wade was the only civilian killed during the American Civil War Battle of Gettysburg, Pennsylvania on July 3, 1863 while baking bread for Union soldiers in the now famous tourist destination, the Jennie Wade House. With but a few minor changes and repairs, the Jennie Wade House Museum remains much as Jennie must have know it more than 130 years ago. The Jennie Wade House is a double-unit dwelling and is located on the southern end of Baltimore Street as you approach Cemetery Hill. This is the house that Jennie Wade was killed in. The Herr Tavern & Publick House, was established in 1815 by Thomas Sweeney. In 1828 he sold his tavern to Fredrick Herr. You can be seated outside, near the cute little bar or the wonderful fireplace, or there are several tented areas. Large portable heaters are placed strategically for winter months. All are enhanced by a small fountain & many plants, as well as the live oaks that make a natural tent overhead. On weekends, there is often live music after 7:00 pm.

The food is great 95% of the time, but there are a very few "misses" on occasion. In addition to regular upscale entrees (which are often the same as what's served inside in Frank's, but at lower prices), you can get one of their interesting large salads or wood fired pizzas. You could also make a meal of the appetizers.
